Welcome to Nanning, Guangxi

We started our day with a flight on China Southern Airlines. It was very nice. Coach class like any other airline, but very good service. We were told our flight would be 2hrs 45 min, but it was more like 3hrs 30 min. During that time, we were fed and given drinks 3 times. They also showed some odd American film that took place in China. It was in English had Chinese subtitles, but no sound. Odd?

We have arrived in Nanning. Very beautiful part of the country.

The lobby in our hotel, "The Majestic." Absolutely beautiful hotel.
The stark contrast to the poverty that surrounds our hotel. This is the view outside the hotel lobby.
Looks like all we are missing is Maeve. We are not sure we will put her in this crib though! It is a bit outdated.
The view outside of our hotel room. This city is very plush and green. A stark contrast to the looks of Beijing.
Our room. It is very nice. Not as up to date as the Poly Plaza in Beijing, but nice. The beds are equally as hard, but we are getting used to them.
The local market we headed to in order to stock up on some snacks. Everything here is exactly as I pictured it. Very cool. I feel like we are in a movie!!
